Atlanta-based real estate development firm Dezhu Us Investment, Inc. could soon break ground on Hollywood and Main, an enclosed Townhome community in the “Upper Westside.”

Hollywood and Main, situated in the Riverside neighborhood of Atlanta at 2035 Hollywood Road NW, calls for 25 Townhomes.

Dezhu Us this week filed plans with the City of Atlanta to begin land development for the project.

An estimated $4,923,500 is expected to be spent on construction starting with activities like demolishing existing structures at the site as well as “grading cut and fill tree protection.”

The live/work townhomes will be wood-framed, new construction “intended for the intown-living home buyers,” according to a landing page for the project.

Hollywood and Main was originally slated to break ground at the end of 2017 and placed on the market early 2018.

A new timeline for the project has not yet been released.

Dezhu Us did not immediately return What Now Atlanta’s request for comment.

  1. How about a little creativity? Make these townhomes LOOK BETTER. LOOK DIFFERENT THAN ONE ANOTHER. REFLECT THE HISTORICAL NATURE OF THE AREA. Who would buy these unless they were going to rent them like apartments? Ugly. Do better.

  2. How about building detached homes? Ruining the feel of our amazing neighborhood. Riverside is not a townhome community!
