The restaurant last week announced the news on its Facebook page.

“Today, Chef Hilary and her team would like to thank the customers who for over 10 years offered friendship, loyalty, dedication, recognition, and the occasional stop by for something delicious to eat and drink,” according to the social media post.

“May you and your families be blessed over the holiday season.”

The Hil’s last day under the direction of husband-and-wife team Jim and Hilary White will be December 22.

The couple has plans to open a new concept in Senoia called Bistro Hilary.

The Hil will continue to operate as usual with a brief break December 23 through January 1, then opening its doors again January 2, according to a statement from Serenbe Wednesday.

Brandon Blanchard, CEO of Serenbe Hospitality, will take over operations of the restaurant.

“Stay tuned for additions to The Hil including extended hours and an expanded wine list.”
