Smoke + Duck Sauce, an Asian BBQ restaurant less than two miles from Truist Park, has closed and sold.

Hikaru Ramen Noodle Bar later this year will open in Smoke + Duck Sauce’s place, at 2014 Powers Ferry Rd #400.
“Thank you so much for our local customers who have supported Smoke + Duck Sauce for these past few years,” according to a statement on Smoke + Duck Sauce’s website.
“Opportunity has arrived and we have closed our store for an awesome new Ramen spot coming soon.”
Hikaru Ramen Noodle Bar is the second restaurant concept by Andy and Mike Tjia, the co-owners of HOKI Sushi Japanese Restaurant nearby in the Riverview Village Shopping off Cobb Pkwy.
The menu will specialize in chicken, pork and vegan ramen.
“We are going to be serving simple but authentic Japanese ramen, so that means that all ramen broth served will be made in-house, which takes many hours,” Andy told What Now Atlanta during a phone conversation Thursday.
“Most ramen restaurants are not doing that.”
An April 2020 opening is likely.
The sale of the fully-equipped and furnished 1,750-square-foot restaurant in the Parkwood Circle shopping center was brokered by business and commercial real estate broker Driss Senhaji of Atlanta Business Brokers LLC.
There’s no indication on whether Smoke + Duck Sauce, which opened two locations in 2016, will reopen elsewhere in the city.
In 2018, the Smoke + Duck Sauce outpost in Suburban Plaza in Decatur shut its doors after a little over a year in business and was replaced by Tabi Sushi which was quickly replaced by Hai Chinese Restaurant thereafter.
