The yoga studio is in permitting with the City of Atlanta to buildout its Madison Yards outpost.
Developer Fuqua has long been in negotiations with Highland Yoga for a lease at the Memorial Drive project.
Madison Yards is anchored by Publix and AMC, and will soon be home to new Hooters’ sister concept Hoots Righteous Wings.
Highland Yoga also recently inked a deal to open in the forthcoming AMLI Decatur mixed-use, at 122 W Trinity Place.
Todd Semrau of Oakhurst Realty Partners brokered the deal.
“Both deals are signed, so we’re off to the races with permitting, etc.,” John Irvin, Highland Yoga’s co-owner, in an email told What Now Atlanta.
“Hoping to open at Madison Yards by December 1 and in Decatur by early 2020.”
Highland Yoga has three existing storefronts: Buckhead, Grant Park, and the original in Virginia-Highland.
Even with the continued growth to new neighborhoods and cities, the company plans to keep its “Highland” name.

I’m all for this one! I’ve been a bit skeptical about some of the offerings. (Hoots would be one, I’ll admit…)
Looking forward to a salad lunch spot, or evening grab-and-go!
Has anyone visited any of the other locations?
