Atlanta’s brick-and-mortar entrepreneurs are proving that life in the City even under COVID-19 shelter-at-home mandates will go on.

Restauranteurs, retailers, and fitness companies are adapting to reach its customers where they are—at home.

Whether it’s by offering Facebook Live yoga classes or virtual Atlanta food tours, there’s something for everyone, and What Now Atlanta (WNA) is scouring our sources to build this running list of virtual offerings.

Virtual Fitness

Yonder Yoga Live Yoga Classes

In addition to live daily yoga classes via Yonder Yoga’s social media, the fitness company has assembled a library of classes that Atlantans can tune into when convenient. There’s also a virtual mat consultation and delivery service! Click here for more info.

CITYROW

Rent a rowing machine from CITYROW and tune-in to online classes. Click here for more info.

Sacred Through Yoga Live Stream

Sacred Through Yoga, which has a studio in East Point and Old Fourth Ward, has shifted its classes to live stream and has a library of over 30 rental on-demand classes.

Barry’s Bootcamp

Barrys is now offering a band workout at least once per day on their Instagram here. People can purchase the “Band Together Fit Kit,” which includes a booty band, a mini band, and an armband. Quantities are limited and international shipping capabilities are subject to change.

CorePower Yoga

The yoga studio is offering free On-Demand classes from CPY teachers and Yoga Leaders from around the country. They are also offering live classes, Pranayama lectures, meditation, and Ayurveda workshops on their Youtube Live Stream channel here.

Highland Yoga Online Memberships

The studio is offering online class memberships here for $30 a month. A $30 membership includes access to a yoga video library online, and for $50, members can have access to daily live steam classes as well. Kids yoga is also available for a monthly fee of $22.99.

F45 Training

F45 is now offering F45 Live! The LIVE streaming workouts feature all bodyweight exercises, a countdown timer, water breaks, beeps and more to mimic an in-person F45 class, and require zero equipment. Each workout is different and features one of the gym’s Buckhead trainers 3 times a day Monday-Friday and 1 workout per day on Saturday and Sunday via Zoom free streaming software. Modern Mystic Virtual Sunday School

Every Sunday morning, the metaphysical shop welcomes wellness experts and spiritual teachers to share practical information to help people connect with their inner power and intuition. During this time, they will be holding live, virtual classes via Zoom on Sundays at 11 a.m. Upcoming classes include Finite to Infinite Being with Vinisha Rumph, The Many Faces of Tarot with Coventry and more. Food Tours

Unexpected Atlanta Tours & Stories

ATL Food Tour Box combines five “hearty tastes” from three local food entrepreneurs with 45 minutes of chef videos and Atlanta local history videos, and an easy historic cooking demonstration, plus no-contact delivery to in-town Atlantans. In addition to supporting five local small businesses, including three female minority-owned businesses, the ATL Food Tour Box donates a portion of its proceeds to Giving Kitchen which has partnered with Staplehouse to become a soup kitchen for the foodservice industry. Avital Tours

Avital Tours released a package of virtual culinary experiences, including a Virtual Chefinar and Virtual Mixologist. The Virtual Chefinar allows customers to interact with an expert Chef over video chat as you cook a recipe with them from your own kitchen. The Virtual Mixologist teaches customers about how to make cocktails alongside an “expert bartender.” Click here for more info.

Likewise Bar’s “Quaran-tini Time

Likewise, the new bar situated inside of Ponce City Market’s Citizen Supply, daily at 5 p.m. via Instagram is hosting a happy hour complete with cocktail demos and recipes for DIY fun.

Mixy Chix’s “Mixing with Mixy

Jasmyne Brooks is regularly uploading YouTube cocktail-making how-to videos like this Apple Martini demonstration.

Wahoo Wine & Provisions

Via Zoom and Instagram Live, Wahoo hosts a virtual wine tasting every Thursday at 7 p.m.

Perrine’s Wine Down Wednesday

Join Westside Provisions District’s Perrine’s Wine Shop every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. for weekly virtual wine tastings.

Truck & Tap’s Virtual Singo

Truck & Tap is hosting Virtual Music Bingo Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Three rounds of Singo for $10 with all proceeds going to the restaurant’s Employee Relief Fund. Click here to register.

PERC Coffee virtual “brew-a-longs”

Each morning at 8 a.m. PERC Coffee is holding virtual coffee “brew-a-longs” via Facebook Live and Instagram Live. The videos are archived every morning and can be found here.

Dancing Goats Coffee Bar

Right now, Dancing Goats is sharing home brewing videos to its company Facebook page. There are two live videos per day at 12 p.m. and 5 p.m.  After they are recorded live, each one is posted on this page for homebrewers to view at their convenience.

Spiller Park Coffee

Dale Donchey, Owner and Barista of Spiller Park, is running a home brewing series from his house every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 11 a.m. to engage with the coffee community virtually while sharing his best tips for brewing at home. This series can be found at his personal handle, @dbdonchey.

Topstitch’s Sewcial Network & Online Classes

Topstitch has launched a “Sewcial Network” where those interested can choose a membership plan to find inspiration, connect with fellow sewists, improve sewing skills through online classes and become part of a thriving indie garment sewing community online. Memberships begin at $4.99 a month.

General Assembly Virtual Workshops

For those with a goal to learn something new while social distancing in quarantine, General Assembly is offering a series of free virtual workshops online. A list of classes such as Introduction to Google Analytics, Intro to Coding and more can be found here.

Rhen’s Nest Toy Local Delivery

For the first time, Rhen’s Nest Toy Shop is offering same-day local delivery to help keep children entertained and learning. Shoppers can visit their website here, and those who live within 10 miles of the Ponce City Market Shop can choose an option for free same-day local delivery by 2 p.m. for orders $25 or more.
