Heirloom Market Co. and Bakeshop kicked off last year at 8861 Hwy-54 in Sharpsburg and quickly made a name for itself, partially due to its best-selling donuts. Now, the owners, Justin and Laura Gibson, are preparing to move into their new location at 12 Jefferson St. in Newnan, in the previous location of Dolled, an eyebrow and nail lounge.

Aside from being a bakery, Heirloom is a market made up of over 50 local boutiques, according to the website. These local boutiques add a level of variety in what the market offers — from different personalities, talents, styles, and perspectives. The Gibsons take pride in catering to every need at Heirloom Market Co. and Bakeshop. Some samples of what the booths have to offer are also displayed on the website — furniture, decorations, hats, and shirts are amongst the few on display.
On the “Bakeshop” side of things, the couple serves, not only those best-selling donuts but a full breakfast menu, from breakfast bowls to omelets. Earlier this year, Heirloom Market Co. and Bakeshop started up a cause, dedicated to feeding the first responders. For every dozen donuts they sold, they would provide lunch for a nurse, firefighter, or police officer. Justin, who was previously a firefighter for seven years, said he sympathizes with the work they have to endure, according to the Newnan Times-Harald. They also offer catering services. Heirloom Market Co. and Bakeshop, according to the lease, could move into its new location in Newnan next month.
