The project received $1.5 million from Invest Atlanta’s Housing Opportunity Bond program, which will require the developers to set aside at least 52 units for households at 60 percent of AMI or below. The total cost of the project was $28 million with an additional $5.5 million in funding coming from Cabretta Capital.

  1. Almost $900. a month for 1 bedroom is affordable housing? Maybe for someone working a 40hr work week making good money. Not for seniors living on a little over 1,000 a month.

    1. The affordability metric in this case is based off a 60% of the Area Median Income, which unfortunately is still out of reach for many people. I agree that there should be more truly affordable housing for seniors in particular.
