Grindhouse Killer Burgers will open a new location at 701 Memorial Drive SE in Grant Park, according to a release from landlord Paces Properties.

“We plan to make it the most retro of all of our Grindhouse Killer Burger locations, a throwback to drive-in’s of the 1950s, with a big mid-century modern façade,” explained Grindhouse Killer Burgers owner, Alex Brounstein, in the announcement.

“It will feature an indoor/outdoor bar and a biergarten-style patio with outdoor games and classic movies being projected.”

The burger joint already has three Atlanta-area locations in Sweet Auburn, Piedmont Heights, and Hartsfield-Jackson Airport.

Grindhouse first opened in 2009 at its Sweet Auburn location, not far from where the Memorial Drive location will be situated.

The new location will be a free-standing, 4,000-square-foot building that can seat up to 150 guests. Kronberg-Wall Architects are working with designers Flags of Origin to have the space ready to open in early 2017.

Do you think the new Grindhouse Killer Burgers location will thrive given its proximity to the original Sweet Auburn outpost? Let us know what you think in the comments section below!
