Plans last week were submitted to the City of Atlanta to buildout the nearly 2,000-square-foot studio, at 1039 Grant Street SE.

Grind Fitness will offer indoor row, spin, and TRX (total body resistance training) in group-style training sessions, Gillon Tuesday told What Now Atlanta in a telephone interview.

“Our workouts are all about high-intensity group training,” Gillon said.

“Be prepared to work. To move. That’s what fitness is about. It’s not static. It’s dynamic.”

If all goes according to plan, the new fitness concept should be open by April 2, 2018, following a six to eight-week buildout.

Like Blanaced Fit Life, Grind Fitness will offer three, six, and 12-month memberships, or blocks of sessions a la carte.

The Beacon Atlanta is a $20 million revitalization project of six old industrial warehouses home to concepts like Grant Street CrossFit, Wanderlust Coffee, and Cafe of Life.

Several additional tenants are slated to open at the development this year.
