The National property management giant Greystar will soon start the construction of a new multifamily community in suburban Chamblee, DeKalb County. The community will be called Marlowe Chamblee and will be surrounded by the mixed-use development, Chamblee Park.

Greystar Brings Marlowe to Chamblee
Marlowe Chamblee is expected to deliver around 300 units within two mid-rise apartment buildings, as per official sources. The development will take place on 6.35 acres of land recently bought by the company for $11.5 million in January.
The location of the project is near the intersection of Parsons Drive and Peachtree Boulevard, within the Interstate 285 Perimeter. One of the attracting factors of the project will be the fact that it is only about a mile away from the film studio, Assembly Studios.
The mixed-use campus, Assembly Atlanta, situated in the nearby Doraville, will be easily accessible to the residents.
Greystar will begin the construction of the upscale multifamily venture in April. The completion is expected by the summer of 2027.
John Roberson, Senior Managing Director for Greystar Development said that the company is excited to expand their footprint in the Atlanta area. Marlowe Chamblee will reinforce Greystar’s commitment to top-quality developments in fast growing regions and the company is looking forward to breaking ground in the coming months, he said in the prepared statement.
Chamblee Park’s Multifamily Apartment Buildings
Greystar’s Marlowe Chamblee will be the multifamily component of the much larger, 30.5-acre, mixed-use project by Toll Brothers named Chamblee Park. Chamblee City Council had unanimously passed the approval for the plans for Chamblee Park in October 2021.
Toll Brothers had included a mix of 700 new townhomes, houses, and apartments and close to 20,000 square feet of retail space in the original Master Plan for the project. However, they later decided to remove the multifamily component. Following this, Greystar stepped in with the new project under its Marlowe brand, which is its “suburban luxury line.”
Greystar has real estate investments of over $315 billion across 250 markets globally. The company manages more than 35,000 rental units across the greater Atlanta area. It had recently delivered Marlowe Brookwood in Austell and Marlowe South Fulton under the same brand.
