After months of buzz, Grana will “open” its Morningside doors to the public for the first time in an unorthodox way Thursday, March 19, at 1835 Piedmont Ave NE, across the street from Grindhouse.
Without actually allowing guests to dine-in.
Executive Chef Pasquale “Pat” Pascarella (also of The White Bull) and his team initially weren’t planning to be open for another three to four more weeks, but amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, is debuting Grana early as a takeout-only establishment.
The new, casual Italian eatery will operate from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will serve from a pared-down take-out menu that will be available for pick-up inside or curbside.
“Our entire team has been very excited about this opening due to the buzz in the neighborhood surrounding Grana,” Pascarella shared in a press statement Wednesday.
“We all talked about it and agreed that we should open the doors and offer daily, food pick-up during this current time. While this may not be our opening menu, we have a large offering of menu options and will make it easy for those who are currently at home and not going out/”
In addition to the menu below, guests may purchase pasta and tomato sauce complete with recipe cards from the Grana kitchen team.
Grana joins a growing list of other Atlanta restaurants that have closed their dining areas but kept their kitchens open to facilitate takeout or curbside delivery in order to “slow the spread” of COVID-19.

Welcome to the Neighborhood Grana! However, Grana is in Morningside, not Piedmont Heights. Piedmont Ave divides the two neighborhoods. East of Piedmont like Grana and Sprouts is Morningside, west side of Piedmont Ave, like Little Rey and Grindhouse is Piedmont Heights.
