A Haute Cookie is coming to Suite J of the Inman Park mixed-use, at 299 North Highland Avenue NE, in a 1,100 square-foot space, according to official filings. Construction on the bakeshop is estimated at $50,000.

White founded A Haute Cookie as a food truck and then opened a brick-and-mortar in The Beacon Atlanta in 2017. The new Inman Quarter outpost is a relocation of the company’s existing Grant Park location, White told What Now Atlanta Friday.

“The Beacon was the pits,” White said. “No marketing, no foot traffic, just a bad marriage. I’m looking forward to the new location!” White announced the closure on the company’s Facebook page Thursday. “Closed until further notice, however, our new location is opening soon.”

A Haute Cookie will be open late in its new location — as late as midnight, White said. “Our new location will include a walk-up window, plus we’re adding espresso to the menu.”

White’s aim in creating A Haute Cookie was to bridge her love for fashion and gourmet treats, according to the company’s website. “A Haute Cookie started with Shiana White’s love for homemade chocolate chip cookies, and her appreciation for fashion,” the about page states. “They both have always had a special place in her heart. Just like she adores quality garments, she also can’t live without quality gourmet treats! She loved the idea of combining the two…and that’s how she came up with A Haute Cookie!”

In addition to its classic thick and rich chocolate chip cookies, A Haute Cookie also offers patrons ice cream sandwiches and edible cookie dough.
