When GoodFellas Pizza Midtown reopens soon under new ownership, it will come with a second location — this time in the nearby Home Park neighborhood. Chris Berry, Charles Hughes, Bryan “Dolo” Dorsey (who also owns clubs Alibi ATL and Opium ATL), and former professional football player Edgerrin James, haven’t set a firm timeline for resurfacing the pizzeria, at 615 Spring St NW, or opening its new outpost, at 365 14th NW St., but it’ll happen soon.
“I’m excited for being in this neighborhood,” Berry told What Now Atlanta of the new location. “I think it would be a good fit for us.” So far, the response from the locals has been great and the neighborhood’s support has further driven them. He said he hopes GoodFellas Pizza can give that support back. “It’s a real community, a real neighborhood.”
In choosing the new GoodFellas Pizza, which sits in a small Selig-owned strip center anchored by Jimmy John’s, Berry and his team needed to address parking which has been a huge complaint at the company’s 615 Spring St NW location — to the extent that the city was putting boots on the tires of cars packed tightly together. GoodFellas replaces Baby Tommy’s Taste Of New York (and All-Star Pizza before that.)
This will be the second of many pizza joints if all goes according to plan. “We would like to definitely expand and have more Goodfellas on different sides of town, within the next 12 to 18 months.” In the process of setting up the Midtown location, the new owners are looking at other real estate and have been actively discussing the future of their adopted brand.

Just met (literally 5 mins ago) one of the owners of Goodfellas handing out flyers in Atlantic Station advertising their new location on State St, and he said they moved to the State St location because the landlord of the Spring St location refused to renew their rent. Thought this was an interesting development because I remember reading this article mentioning they are expanding, when in reality they are moving.
