Keisa Carroll, owner of the Good Azz Food brand, recently signed a lease with Ackerman & Co. and MDH Partners, paving the way for the food truck-turned-brick-and-mortar concept, Good Azz Burgers, to take up residence at the Lee + White food hall, which is slated to open this June according to a press release shared with What Now Atlanta.

Carroll did not immediately return a request for comment.
As one of five new tenants signing on for the development, Leo Wiener, president of Ackerman Retail said, “With these new lease signings, we’re further expanding the diverse array of culinary options that will serve as both an amenity for our tenants and a draw for visitors to Lee + White. Patrons will be able to enjoy everything from a slice of pizza, street tacos or a bowl of pho to sweet treats like mochi donuts and gelato while also visiting the breweries and unique retailers.”
Likewise, CEO of MDH Partners, Jeff Small, called the growing lineup an “intentional mix of local and international concepts,” adding, “Lee + White’s food hall symbolizes the best of Atlanta – a diverse melting pot of cultures – coming together in one location. Whether it’s your workplace or hang-out place, Lee + White serves every purpose with something for everyone.”
Good Azz Food (GAF) was founded as a catering company and food truck in 2017, serving up healthy versions of Southern comfort food. More specifically, as the brand notes on its website, “The GAF concept started from the desire to bring healthy options to under-supported communities and have a positive impact on the South Side of Atlanta.” As such, the company works to “educate the community and share healthy alternatives to our favorite Southern dishes,” a mission made all the more possible by its mobile business model.
Meanwhile, Good Azz Burgers at Lee + White will feature a menu of classic burgers, specialty burgers, and plant-based varieties, though more details on the menu are yet to be revealed.
