First uncovered by What Now Atlanta in January, Steak Market promises a “one-of-a-kind dining experience with such luxury offerings as gold leaf-encrusted steak, in a vibrant setting that combines the elegance of classic fine dining with modern design touches,” according to a press release.

Steak Market will also serve “top-flight” wine and spirits, offer “impeccable” service, and host live music provided by “world-class” DJs.

“We’re very excited to bring Steak Market to Midtown,” Murat Nalcioglu, general manager of Steak Market, said in the release. “We’ve worked very hard to bring the vision for this restaurant to life, and we can’t wait for our new friends and neighbors in this dynamic community to experience our exceptional cuts of meat for themselves.”

Whether from wagyu and Kobe beef farm outside of Atlanta or flown in from Japan, Steak Market says it will source the best cuts and highest quality meats available.

The menu also includes seafood and a raw bar, as well as an extensive wine list, handcrafted cocktails, and 300 varieties of scotch and whiskey.

The space, designed by Atlanta’s Lotus Design Interiors, is described as mixing classic and contemporary, with neon light fixtures, custom tables, and bronze accents.

The restaurant seats 200 guests on three levels including a 12-person private dining room on the top floor and a members-only cigar lounge on the bottom level. With an annual membership fee, members receive “priority” reservations at Steak Market, a 10 percent discount on all food and beverages in the restaurant and lounge, a private cigar locker, private access, and exclusive hours. The cost of membership was not disclosed.

Steak Market is located at 793 Juniper Street NE in space most recently home to Simon’s Restaurant and Straits before that. Dinner will be served nightly beginning at 5 p.m. and brunch on Saturday and Sunday 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

  1. Anyone buying a gold steak while thousands in this city are starving on the streets deserves to have their ass beat.

  2. I do hope this venture succeeds, although a gold encrusted steak reminds me of Pres Trump’s gold toilet, and about as klassy. This location has been plagued with poor concepts and even worse management and maintenance. lets hope this time is better.

  3. You are disgusting capitalistic pigs. Gold? fn the soviet union we valued precious metals. I still have my grandmother’s teeth from the war. Long live mother russia.
