But the restaurant in the Ponce Springs Lofts building, at 620 Glen Iris Dr NE, could make a comeback.

Steve Josovitz, a business broker with Shumacher Group, is working with the landlord to bring in a new leasee.

The 3,200-square-foot restaurant carries a $10,000 per month rent with a “long term lease,” according to the listing.

A new leasee could keep the Gekko Sushi concept, or convert the space into something new.

This is one of my favorite sushi restaurants in Atlanta and it is my go-to spot for great sushi! I am very saddened to hear that it is closing, and I truly hope they will re-open it as soon as possible!!
