Farshad Arshid, franchisee of the G-Star Raw in the Buckhead mall, is moving the clothing store to a larger 1,850-square-foot space to accommodate the new design.

Walter Jordan of DWRC Group this week filed plans with City of Atlanta for the relocation.

“The design concept will be the first of its kind in North America,” Arshid in an email told What Now Atlanta. “We should have the finalized renderings next week.”

In Addition to G-Star Raw, Arshid owns and operates Standard in Lenox Square and Ponce Denim Company in Ponce City Market.

Amsterdam-based G-Star Raw (commonly called G-Star) was founded in 1989 retailing “urban clothing.”
