Bask in Good Food and Wine at the Georgia Food and Wine Festival

Georgia Food and Wine Festival is hosted over three days, March 21 to 23. Over these three days, a wide variety of drinks and cuisines will be served to the guests. March 21 and 22 events are for 21 years and above. March 23 events are inclusive of all age groups.
Day 1 of the event starts as ‘Friday Fired-Up’. It will be an evening of great food ranging from a variety of flavors, including smoked, barbecued, grilled, and vegetarian options. The food will be cooked by renowned Pitmasters and chefs. The ticket for each person is $85.
Day 2 of the event is named as ‘Saturday Savor’, there will be a range of dinks and Georgia’s best chefs will be serving a variety of delectable dishes. The ticket includes souvenir wine glass for unlimited beverage tastings of wine, beer and spirits, and many more such offers.
For day 1 and day 2 there will be a Silent Auction, a flower market, and more. A meat and greet session will be arranged with VICE Kitchen owner, Chef Nick Leahy. The event is inclusive, food and drink are included in the admission tickets. The ticket prices for March is $99 for general admission and VIP lounge tickets are $165.
Day 3 of the event is named ‘Sunday Funday’; everybody is encouraged to visit and enjoy the food and the drinks. There is no age limit for kids to enjoy. There will be a separate kid’s zone. General tickets are priced at $25 and VIP at $139.

Get Down to the Hunting at Easter Egg Quest

It is the best time to bond with family and start the hunt for the Easter eggs from March 24 to April 20. The City of Powder Springs will be a ground for adventure as the Easter Bunny has hidden 48 oversized easter eggs around the city.
Families are encouraged to hop on the quest with family and friends around Thurman Springs Park, the Home of the Hardy Family Automotive Amphitheater, and around the downtown area. Once they spot the eggs, they must take a picture.

Baseball with A Twist – The Savannah Bananas

The Savannah Bananas are coming to Truist Park on March 29 and 30. This is going to be a spectacular match as the baseball team will swap the traditional baseball with a Banana Ball. It will be a match like never before. The tickets for the match are already sold out.

The Big Shanty Festival 2025 is taking place on April 12 and 13. These two days will be filled with craft vendors, food items, a parade, and fun activities for children. The festival starts with a parade that will take place from 9:30 AM onwards.
The parade will feature floats, marches, bands, and more. The festival is for everyone to enjoy and participate in the fun activities. There will be plenty of food stalls for everyone to fill their plates, along with that there will be stalls for various products.

The last Sunday of the month of April in Marietta is reserved for a special event, Taste of Marietta. Happening on April 27 from 11 AM to 7 PM, this year marks the 30th Anniversary of the event. The specialty of this event will be the participating restaurants of Marietta and Cobb County.
More than 60 restaurants will be participating in this event featuring their specials. The registration for restaurants to participate in the festival is still open.
Along with the flavorful dishes, there will be various other activities such as games, food judging competitions, and meet and greet with famous chefs. Another attraction will be Publix VIP Lounge at Boxwood Social and the Georgia Grown Member Village this year.

Race to the Finishing Line – Acworth Dragon Boat Festival

Acworth Dragon Boat Festival is going to celebrate its 8th year anniversary in 2025. The main attraction of this is to watch 40-foot boats with dragon faces on each race against each other. For a boat to reach the finishing line, 20 paddlers, a drummer, and a steers person to navigate.
The festival will take place on May 3, from 9 AM to 4 PM. The boat race started 1000 years ago and has become popular over time.
