The market stall and restaurant, also situated in the Inman Park development, will close for good Saturday, December 31, a KSM spokesperson in a statement Friday told What Now Atlanta.

Here’s the statement in its entirety:

Megan and Kevin Ouzts have decided to close Frankly and The Spotted Trotter at Krog Street Market after determining the need for only one brick and mortar location to complement their wholesale business. Their final day of operations will be tomorrow, December 31, 2016. Castellucci Hospitality Group has confirmed they will add the market stall to their recently announced KSM footprint. Details regarding their market stall and restaurant concept will be shared in the new year.

Castelluci Hospitality Group, the company behind Iberian Pig and Cooks & Soldiers, in November announced it would open a new concept in The Cockentrice’s place.

At the time, The Outzs said they would keep Frankly and The Spotted Trotter open.

  1. Not to be mean, but I predicted these places would last less than a year…u cant expect to stay open with the amount of rent they have to pay at this location!!!

  2. well, high rent and the fact that Spotted Trotter, imo was just priced too high for what it is. it’s entirely possible that the latter is caused by the former.
