Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q Pitmasters, Owners, and brothers Jonathan and Justin Fox, Thursday announced plans for a Brookhaven Station location, at 4058 Peachtree Road, in the former Hudson FC space.
Featuring a selection of the brothers’ signature style of smoked meats alongside a Tex-Mex barbecue menu, outdoor seating, and beverages, the upcoming Brookhaven Fox Bros. will be the company’s third location.
“When my brother and I started cooking barbecue, we did so in our backyard in Brookhaven, and we’re excited about the opportunity to return to the neighborhood,” Jonathan Fox said. “We’ve learned a lot over the past year and with this location, we want to highlight elements of classic Texas barbecue culture and the flavors that we grew up with.”
While plans for the restaurant space are in the initial development phase, early discussions have included an “open-air feel” that stretches from the kitchen to the outdoor space and an easy, to-go pickup window.
The brothers began their careers in barbecue throwing backyard parties for their friends after relocating to Atlanta from Fort Worth, Texas, according to Thursday’s announcement. Backyard parties grew into catering, a pop-up at Smith’s Olde Bar, to building the original location 14 years ago on Dekalb Avenue.
In 2016, Fox Bros. Catering expanded to a commissary facility in Armor Yards, at 134 Ottley Drive.
Pre-pandemic, the original restaurant served up to 1200 guests a day with their smokin’ ATL-style of barbecue, classic southern sides, and homemade desserts in addition to feeding fans at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Truist Park. There are also plans to open a 9,300 square-foot location in The Works this summer.
