The four-star hotel is slated to open in the first quarter of 2022.

“Concord Hospitality has been strategically expanding its footprint in the greater Atlanta market and we have had our sights set on finding the right location in Gwinnett County for some time,” Mark Laport, president and CEO of Concord Hospitality, the hotel’s operator, said in a prepared statement.

“The success of bringing such a premier hotel brand like Westin to Gwinnett is a direct result of successful collaboration on the part of the county and the key leaders at the Infinite Energy Center, and the dedicated team within the Explore Gwinnett Tourism Office.”

The 11-story, 348-room hotel will help service events at the newly expanded convention center and will feature 34,500 square feet of ballroom, meeting, and pre-function space, three restaurants, lobby, and rooftop bars, as well as numerous other amenities.

This will be Concord’s sixth property in the Atlanta area.
