The pizzeria, which opened January 6, 2022, seems to be flush with business having already started running out of its main ingredient. “We are out of dough for tonight,” Vesuvio Pizzeria Napoletana posted to its social media Saturday. “See you tomorrow!”

The fast-casual, counter-service restaurant is helmed by Massimo Andreozzi, a native and Master Pizzaiolo from Naples, Italy. Prior to launching Vesuvio, Andreozzi worked for U Restaurants — the group behind Sotto Sotto and Fritti — for more than a decade. Vesuvio Pizzeria Napoletana’s menu is centered around its authentic Neapolitan-style pizza alongside appetizers, salads, calzones, panuozzo sandwiches, and desserts.

The 49 seat eatery — plus an outdoor 20-seat patio — is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

“At Vesuvio, you’ll enjoy the unique style of pizza that originated in Naples, Italy,” according to the company’s website. “We use an authentic, imported brick oven that bakes our pizzas quickly, creating the perfect crust – light and airy, with a bit of char.”
