The location represents the brand’s first store in the southeast and will occupy 3,100 square feet of ground-floor space at the office tower along 12th Street. For Five Atlanta will offer the brand’s signature coffee blends and seasonal breakfast and lunch menus in an elevated café environment that will also feature a pedestrian-friendly outdoor patio. An early 2022 date is being targeted for the opening.

“We are finding Midtown is one of just a couple nodes in the city where impressive first-to-market concepts like For Five are looking to launch their brand to an Atlanta audience. For Five will add a new layer to the district’s thriving scene through diverse menu offerings and authentic community connection,” said Steve Baile, Chief Operating and Development Officer at Selig Development. “This is the beginning of an exciting partnership with For Five, and we are pleased the team selected 1105 West Peachtree as the site for its first location and flagship in the southeast. Demand is high for great F&B in Midtown, and our goal is for 1105 West Peachtree to serve as a hub for these distinctive culinary concepts.”

For Five President and Co-Founder Stefanos Vouvoudakis echoed Baile’s enthusiasm, saying Atlanta has always been a market that the brand wanted to enter.

“We are building our flagship Atlanta store in what’s recognized as one of the premier buildings in Midtown,” said Vouvoudakis. “The design and architecture of this location is like nothing that’s been done in the café world before. We will be curating all of our specialty items onsite, with a private VIP barista station similar to what we’ve built at our Manhasset, Long Island flagship. Cheers to For Five Atlanta!”

Founded in 2010 by Vouvoudakis and his best friend, Tom Tsiplakos, For Five is out to introduce specialty coffee by New Yorkers to the world. After building their first roasting facility in Maspeth, Queens, the two sold their roasted beans to restaurants and other wholesale accounts. In 2016, they opened the first For Five Coffee café on West 46th Street in Manhattan — right in Times Square.

Today, the brand has more than 30 locations across New York City, Long Island, Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, Washington D.C. and the DMV region, with several more set to open throughout 2022. The southern flagship will be For Five’s largest location yet and the brand aims to cultivate a true-to-Atlanta, neighborhood atmosphere with this latest outpost.

And while it will be the first brick and mortar café in Atlanta, the brand is no stranger to the city. It has already established a wholesale presence in Atlanta with clients such as Fiserv, Delta, The Federal Reserve and 1105 West Peachtree’s own Epicurean Atlanta hotel.

Beyond coffee, For Five Atlanta will offer artisanal pastries, the brand’s famous stuffed cookies, and a seasonally changing breakfast and lunch menu curated by the brand’s executive chef. Guests can expect to see a variety of cultivated, diverse, health-conscious dishes, with the inclusion of gluten free, dairy free, and vegan offerings.

  1. I’ve never been so glad to have moved to a neighborhood in my 70 year old life. For Five will be right outside our side door. Welcome to Midtown Atlanta, and thank you for including vegan offerings! See you on Day One!
