Food that Rocks, a tasting event celebrating Sandy Springs’s restaurant scene, next week will celebrate its seventh year. Food that Rocks returns to City Springs on August 19 and August 20, 2022 with a selection of food, wine, beer and cocktails for guests 21+ to enjoy.

Food that Rocks is a two-day tasting event with three sessions featuring cooking demonstrations during the day and live music at night. Food that Rocks is a rain or shine event. Food that Rocks is produced by Taste of Atlanta in partnership with the City of Sandy Springs.

Tickets for Food That Rocks are all-inclusive, providing unlimited bites and beverages. Tickets are now available now and can be purchased here. Tickets cost $85 per person per person, excluding fees. Tickets are $95 per person at the gate and subject to availability. Advance ticket purchase is highly recommended and typically sell out prior to the event.

“Food That Rocks in Sandy Springs was created to bring together community and entertainment for a cause,” Dale DeSena, Founder of Food That Rocks and What Now Atlanta Preferred Partner Taste of Atlanta, said in a press release. “Celebrating Sandy Springs’ best restaurants for the seventh year, we are excited to showcase the authentic, chef-driven restaurant scene that the city has to offer. We have more restaurants, beverage brands and community partners for this year’s Food That Rocks than ever before and know we will have a great turnout. This year we are offering multiple sessions with unlimited bites, beverages and entertainment for our guests.”

The outdoor event will be held in City Springs, at 1 Galambos Way in Sandy Springs. Participating restaurants include Battle & Brew, City BBQ, Colonial Kitchen & Bar, The General Muir, Henri’s, Nam Kitchen, Tre Vele, and many more.

Each restaurant is bringing a “taste” of its foods prepared by top Sandy Springs chefs. Every session will allow event-goers to vote for the “Best Taste” award and deem that Chef’s bite as the greatest. Attendees will get a taste of many musical genres from GlowBand and The Geek Squad Band’s performances showcasing the 60’s, Motown, Jazz, Hip Hop and even today’s Top 40 hits.
