It will replace the now-shuttered The Local Pizzaiolo, at 1000 Marietta Street, Suite 202.

Steve Josovitz and Irving Jacobson of The Shumacher Group, Inc. sold the former pizza joint to the Food Terminal team.

The deal closed late-Friday, Josovitz in an email told What Now Atlanta.

He did not disclose the sale price but the restaurant was listed for $325,000.

The Local Pizzaiolo went on the market in November 2018, less than a year after the pizzeria first opened its doors.

Food Terminal is from Amy Wong and Howie Ewe, the same restauranteurs behind Asian bakery concept Sweet Hut.

The original outpost of the Malaysian eatery, at 5000 Buford Highway #B201, opened in 2017.

It’s unclear when the West Midtown location will debut.

Wong and Ewe did not immediately respond to WNA’s request for comment Friday.
