“We will be moving to our new location sometime in early 2016,” a Flywheel employee at the current Buckhead location told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in a telephone conversation Tuesday.

The new space is less than half a mile east on Paces Ferry Road from the current set up at the intersection of Slaton Drive NW.

Flywheel will be the latest fitness concept to move into Buckhead Atlanta, with Pure Barre on the other side of East Paces Ferry Road NE and CORE Buckhead just a block away.

The move will keep the nationwide brand at three locations in the metro Atlanta area, including outposts in Midtown and The Avalon development in Alpharetta, and 35 locations across the United States according to its website.

Renovations on the new cycling and barre space in Buckhead Atlanta will cost an estimated $500,000.

  1. I wonder if this is a move because the center they are in now is going to get torn down for development.

The parking situation they have now is great – don’t really have to compete with anyone and you can park right there. Now people will have to navigate through decks, which can be a hassle if they are trying to make a class on time.
