Peachtree City and Brookhaven locations coming soon

The Flying Biscuit Cafe, a franchise that serves eclectic American cuisine, announced plans for two new Atlanta-area locations.

The restaurant alerted Facebook fans and Twitter followers to their newest locations, coming soon to Brookhaven and Peachtree City, Friday.

“Hey fans, did you know that Flying Biscuit is coming soon to Peachtree City and Brookhaven, Georgia?…,” the restaurant said in a tweet Friday.

The Flying Biscuit’s website confirms the Peachtree City location will open at 2874 W. Highway 54 and the Brookhaven location will open at 4330 Peachtree Road (Town Brookhaven).

An ad seeking applications for assistant manager positions at the Peachtree City location was placed on Craigslist early April.

This will make nine Atlanta-area locations for The Flying Biscuit Cafe.

  1. I don’t think the quality of Flying Biscuit has changed at all. The biggest change is the interior. The original location and to a lesser extent the midtown location have a “locally owned interior” whereby the franchised ones have, for lack of a better term, a franchised interior. That being said, I’ve never found their food to be worth the 1-2 hour wait at the original locations. I’m happy to go to a franchised location for the same food. And 9 locations does not make it too big.

  2. This place is a bad joke. People wait hours to eat this stuff because they are sheep, they will eat whatever the mass opinion dictates. The food is absolutely horrid, especially the biscuits that are rock hard and tasteless, you might as well eat compressed sawdust. This place was good when they had ONE location. Maybe Delia can franchise her chicken tube steak and make more money off people without an original idea. Not.

  3. Semi-agree on the food quality. While I don’t think the biscuits are sawdust, I’ve never understood why people wait around like they do for the food here.

  4. It was when Raving Brands, owner of Moe’s and Doc Green’s, bought Flying Biscuit from the original owners that the food went downhill. You really can’t expect that much from the owner of Moe’s. I still like a lot of the food, but there were small nice details that were value-engineered out.

  5. Felix you ht the nail on the head. My boyfriend worked for Flying Biscuit in Midtown for a while, before and after the buyout, and he can say without a doubt that quality went down. Details were changed and corners were cut.

  6. I have been a big fan of The Flying Biscuit for years. As any other restaurant, it has had small changes to keep up with the times but in no way has the quality changed in my opinion. It sounds as though some of the folks have personal issues judging from their comments. The same people that were working there 7 years ago are still in there preparing my food. I have conversations with them all the time about the business in general and from their mouths nothing has changed.

  7. I love all the hipsters complaining about how this place was cool before anyone knew about it and how Delia sold out. Guess what, you would do the same for a few million.

  8. Why go to Flying Biscuit particularly in Midtown when J Christophers, Einsteins, Silver Skillet, West Egg etc. are all so much better? There is a Flying Biscuit in Gainesville, FL now for christs sake, its nothing to write home about.

  9. J Christophers……REALLY. I took a homeless man there one time, and he refused to eat the food.
