Flower Child, a restaurant from Arizona-based Fox Restaurant Concepts—the group that owns True Food Kitchen—is coming to Buckhead.

The quick-service, the health-conscious eatery will open in The Shops Around Lenox. True Food has a location across the street in Lenox Square Mall where the sit-down restaurant has been met with great success.

A permit application Wednesday was filed with the City of Atlanta to buildout Flower Child in the Buckhead shopping center.

The restaurant will open in Suite 207 replacing a portion of the now-shuttered American Apparel, at 3400 Around Lenox Road NE, according to the filing.

Converting the retail space into a restaurant will require a lot of work including a complete interior demolition, a new kitchen and storefront.

An estimated $900,000 will be spent transforming the 3,834-square-foot space into Flower Power.
