A new fitness studio is coming to The Forum Peachtree Corners.
solidcore is planned for 5161 Peachtree Parkway, according to construction documents that detail plans to transform a “demised retail space” into a “new health and fitness establishment.”
The scope of work for the buildout of the space includes the installation of ceilings, partitions, doors, interior finishes, mechanical work, electrical work and plumbing work. It appears that the studio would be located next to the clothing boutique fab’rik.
This would be the sixth solidcore location in metro Atlanta, which can currently be found in Midtown, at Madison Yards, in Buckhead, in Dunwoody, and in Alpharetta at Avalon.
solidcore was founded in 2013. The concept offers 50-minute high-intensity, low-impact, resistance-training workouts that focus on using slow, purposeful movements to target the core, lower body and upper body. It is different from pilates but does utilize a pilates-inspired reformer.
The company, which does not offer franchising, has been looking to majorly expand, with plans to grow to 250 studios in the U.S. by 2028.
