Michael Arkin and Chris Bowman of Skyline Seven Real Estate represented the landlord in the transaction, with Arkin telling What Now Atlanta by email, “We are both excited to see Firehouse open and operating soon at the center.”
Firehouse Subs was founded three decades ago by Chris and Robin Sorensen, who wanted to build upon their family’s legacy as entrepreneurs while honoring the role that fire and police service played in that legacy.
As such, the company donates a portion of the profits from its more than 1,200 locations to the in-house philanthropic arm, Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, which is used to “provide lifesaving equipment to first responders.”
According to the restaurant’s official website, since its inception, the Foundation has “granted over $75 million to provide equipment, training, and support to hometown heroes.”
Aside from fulfilling the needs of first responders though, Firehouse Subs also fills the bellies of its customers with a menu of hot and cold subs, including signature favorites such as the Hook & Ladder, Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket, Club on a Sub, and Firehouse Hero.
