The new Old Fourth Ward concept, at 520 Daniel St SE, will operate as a coffee bar—partnering with West Midtown’s Firelight Coffee—while Fetch secures is liquor license.

Fetch passed its health inspection Tuesday, according to the company’s Facebook page.

“We hope our liquor license will be in within the next two weeks or so,” the spokesperson said.

The concept is made up of The Ice House restaurant and Fetch Park, the off-leash dog park.

Once the liquor license and food permits are secured, The Ice House will serve lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.

Attached to the restaurant will be “The Shipping Yard,” an on-leash dog-friendly patio.

The patio will feature outdoor games and a shipping container bar serving up craft cocktails, wine, and beer. The transformed container also offers rooftop seating with views of the park.

An invite-only, friends and family sneak peek is being held Thursday evening.

  1. Hey! This isn’t the First full service dog park/bar. ParkGrounds, in Reynoldstown, a mile away, has been open for years. And you don’t have to be a member to enjoy the dog park and cocktails.

  2. First to charge a membership maybe. Try doing a figure search next time you just copy someone else’s article title. Park Grounds in Reynoldstown has been around for a decade or so.
