  1. Hey. I tried to see the report on Taco Veloz but the link pointed to the report about Alpha Soda. Can you fix, please?

  2. The Shane’s report is wrong. They are cited for Hot temp violation when the temps recorded were clearly ABOVE the minimum requirements. That score should be higher.

See? These reports are random and wholly dependent on the inspector who gives them. Even bad math can be the cause for a low rating. Take it all with the proverbial grain of salt.

Restaurants are much like a living thing. They fluctuate constantly. A bad inspection is never a good thing, but these problems do tend to be transitory. Mostly. I’m always suspicious of aggressively foreign restaurants, but that has never stopped me from eating there. I’ve eaten all along Buford Hwy and never gotten sick. Even at the scary Korean place that’s basically an outdoor lean-to in a parking lot. ::shrug::

  3. Straits failed in January, not February. Yet you don’t list any of the other restaurants that failed in January.

I’m glad you feel that doing a 30 second search using a link that a user posted classifies as journalism.

  4. Why is it that when I search http://ga.state.gegov.com/ for the word “straits” the site doesn’t return any results? Although I officially registered with the site I am still unable to get the site to return any results at all.
