UPDATE (June 21, 2017): F45 Training Buckhead to Open June 24
F45 Training, an Australian-founded, group fitness concept franchise, is planning to open its first Georgia location in The Shops Buckhead Atlanta, according to a press release Tuesday.
F45 Training would join previously announced tenants Highland Yoga and Flywheel at the Buckhead mixed-use development.
“We are excited to give the local community new options to get fit and stay active,” Anneliese Reid, The Shops Buckhead Atlanta’s marketing manager, said in the release.
“Both F45 Training and Highland Yoga will be a great addition for The Shops Buckhead Atlanta as we continue expanding our vision to give our customers a compelling destination for their lifestyle needs, whether it be shopping, dining or fitness.”
F45 Training Buckhead, owned by local Franchisee Greg Chickneas, combines elements of conventional weight training and cardio with functional movements in a high-intensity interval workout.
The studio’s workouts change daily, designed to work every muscle group and include two certified skilled trainers per class.
“F45 currently has a database of more than 3,000 different exercises, with more in development, so members never get the same workout twice. Expect a high-energy experience with professionally mixed music playlists and a live DJ every Saturday.”
F45 Training is slated to open late May next to Savant Salon.
Chickneas could open as many as ten additional F45 Training facilities, five in Atlanta and five in South Florida, the franchisee Tuesday told What Now Atlanta in an email.
“F45 has close to 800 locations globally so we are growing fast.”
This is so exciting!! Any idea if F45 is opening up in Atlantic Station?
