Chris Hadermann, a founding partner of Tin Lizzy’s parent company Southern  Proper Hospitality (SPH), exclusively confirmed the news with What Now Atlanta (WNA).

“We do have a signed lease and I have let our existing landlord know,” Hadermann shared.

“There are so many things out of our control like permitting with the City but as far as the timeline, we are looking at Q2 2020 for an opening in the new space.”

The Tex-Mex-themed eatery will close its existing location next year and reopen in the prime corner space in the 77 12th apartment high-rise, at 77 12th Street NE, which is part of the 12th & Midtown development.

The new location will feature “an exciting new design that focuses on mid-century modern design elements,” and “the menu will feature signature Tin Lizzy’s items that loyal guests have come to love, as well as some new culinary and beverage additions.”

Employees of the Midtown Tin Lizzy’s on Thursday were made aware of the move ahead of the publishing of this article and have the opportunity to work at the new location as well as the other nine locations of the restaurant in the metro-Atlanta area.

In addition to Tin Lizzy’s, SPH owns and operates several concepts including the recently-debuted Ocean & Acre, Chido & Padre’s, and Street Taco.

Mindy Elms with Lavista Associates represented SPH in the transaction and Amy Fingerhut represented the landlord.

“We are very excited to really bring an active patio and great restaurant operator to 77 12th Street,” Fingerhut said.
