Umi will expand its outdoor patio area in collaboration with Yong Pak of Pak Heydt & Associates and Brian Finkle. The new space will be used as a waiting area, where guests can relax and order cocktails before being seated.

In addition to the added patio space, Umi has also taken over the space next door, which will be used as a private dining room and is expected to seat between 20 and 25 people.

Arshid says the Buckhead Plaza construction is expected to be completed by September, and the work at Umi should also be finished within that time frame. Soon, you’ll be able to eat the restaurant’s fresh sushi in a newly refreshed space to match.
