The health-conscious cold-pressed juice concept is opening in space formerly occupied by Judith Bright, at 1002 Virginia Avenue NE.

Judith Bright earlier this year relocated a few doors down in the same Meddin-company-owned development.

“We have always wanted to be in the Virginia-Highland area and we have been waiting for the perfect location,” Karen Spencer, a partner at Dtox, Thursday told What Now Atlanta in an email.

“At the corner of Virginia and Highland Avenues puts our new store in the epicenter of one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in Atlanta.”

Dtox will retail its daily juice cleanses, hangover packs, turmeric and ginger elixirs, and is adding to the menu acai and yogurt bowls.

“We like to get to know our customers by name and we try to have each location cater to the needs of that particular neighborhood. We noticed a lot of children walking by on their way home from school so we are excited to be offering healthy kid’s snacks like chocolate nut-based yogurt popsicles and milkshakes and smoothies made with fresh organic juice and berries.”

Dtox Virginia-Highland is expected to grand open Thursday, January 11, Spencer said.

The new location will be the company’s third Atlanta-area location. Dtox has outposts in Westside Provisions District and Chastain Park.

Future locations are planned for Alpharetta, Brookhaven, Decatur, and Midtown.
