DrawBar is set to anchor the third-floor lobby of The Bellyard Hotel in The Interlock, according to a press release this week. Scheduled for a late spring 2021 debut, the 6,000-square-foot DrawBar is the third watering hole announced for the soon-to-open West Midtown mixed-use joining Pour Taproom — which has a location in the works in Midtown — and Holiday Bar.
The cocktail-driven DrawBar will serve 25 “craft-quality” cocktails and more than 250 spirits alongside a “bar-centric” menu with small bites and medium plates. The space has seating for 98 inside and a 62-seat outdoor terrace will mimic a backyard garden with greenery and showcase views of the Atlanta skyline.
“DrawBar pays homage to the history of The Interlock development site and has been named for its interlocking coupler that connects railroad train cars,” Chip Patterson, co-owner of 3P Partners, the developer of The Bellyard, said in the release. “Playing off of unity and gathering, DrawBar will feature a robust list of craft cocktails combined with approachable and elevated bar food that focuses on the city of Atlanta and its people.”
Pour Taproom, a self-serve beer, wine, and cider bar will open a 3,400-square-foot bar and restaurant with an 800-square-foot patio in The Interlock. The taproom will partner with a yet-to-be-named restaurant on its menu.
Over the next few months, several businesses will begin to schedule openings at The Interlock including Puttshack, Georgia Technology Ventures, and Chase Bank. Plans for the project’s second phase — aptly called The Interlock II — are underway with an anchor grocery tenant in the works.
