UPDATE (May 16, 2018): Drafts + Dogs, From 18.21 Bitters Team, Now Open in Ponce City Market
Missy and Kristin Koefod, the founders of 18.21 Bitters and the under-construction The James Room, are wasting no time in opening a third concept.
The couple and co-owners have plans to launch a draft cocktail and hot dog stall in Ponce City Market called Drafts + Dogs, Atlanta Magazine Tuesday first reported.
A Facebook page for Drafts + Dogs confirms the news.
“[18.21 Bitters has been] at Ponce City Market going on three years now and we absolutely love meeting all of the amazing customers that pop in to see us but we found that there was one thing missing….the cocktails,” according to the concept’s Facebook page.
“We have you guys taste all of this product that you can take home and make killer cocktails with and we give you recipes and talk about all these awesome drinks but there were no cocktails to taste.”
Drafts + Dogs will open May 15 in space formerly occupied by Simply Seoul, “serving Atlanta with the best dang hot dogs in town and some really fun craft draft cocktails and even some crazy frozen ones.”
Expect “craft hot dogs and simple sides” like cole slaw.
