Dr. Scofflaw’s Laboratory and Beer Garden, the upcoming mad scientist-themed macrobrewery and taproom from Scofflaw Brewing Company, will open for the first time on Saturday, October 31 as part of The Works’ Halloween event.
“Join us for a spooky-fun day perfect for all ages!” The Works, Upper Westside’s new mixed-use development where Dr. Scofflaw’s is housed, writes on its website of the event. “Explore the more than 27-acres. From kid-friendly activities and the official debut of Dr. Scofflaw’s Laboratory, to live outdoor music and delicious food available from several future tenants, there will be plenty of safe, Halloween fun for everyone.” Tickets are $5 per person and must be purchased ahead of time.
Acting as Scofflaw Brewing Company’s primary facility for research and development, Dr. Scofflaw’s is situated in a 9,000-square-foot space, at 1295 Chattahoochee Ave NW, and features a patio with yard games. Out of its laboratory-themed space, guests can try new beers. It’s the second location for the company which got its start in 2016, at 1738 MacArthur Blvd., under the direction of Co-founders Matt Shirah and Travis Herman.
