Popshelf — stylized as “pOpshelf” — has opened its second McDonough location, the Dollar General brand announced Monday. The retail store, at 961 Highway 20, is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week, and joins an existing McDonough outpost in the Henry Town Center shopping plaza.
“We are thrilled to expand the pOpshelf offerings and add a second location in McDonough to best serve Henry County residents,” Matt Frame, Popshelf’s director of store operations, said in a press release. “Customers now have another location to explore our store and discover the possibilities of home décor, beauty, party, specialty foods, electronics and more. At Popshelf, there’s fun in every find, happiness in the affordability and joy in stress-free shopping experience we offer, and we look forward to welcoming the community to our new store!”
Popshelf offers most of its items priced at $5 or less with a selection of “on-trend” seasonal and home décor, health and beauty items, home cleaning supplies, household and specialty items, arts and crafts, party planning and entertaining needs, toys and more.
Popshelf introduced its retail store in the Nashville, Tennessee market in fall 2020. The Company also recently announced plans to open approximately 100 new stores in the fiscal year 2022 and to operate up to 1,000 stores by the end of the fiscal year 2025.
