Jeff Myers and Travis Carroll, the dynamic duo behind Kirkwood’s Dish Dive, have plans to open Dive Market and Emergency Kitchen, a “convenience store with a kitchen,” Atlanta Magazine Wednesday first reported.

Myers in an email Thursday to What Now Atlanta confirmed the news.

The concept would be situated in the Reynoldstown neighborhood of Atlanta, at 210 Flat Shoals Avenue SE, in space that was once A&G Convenience Store, Myers said.

The shop would offer “chef-prepared food people can take home and cook” and “feel like a cross between Star Provisions and Little’s Food Store,” Myers told Atlanta Magazine.

Dive Market and Emergency Kitchen would carry local produce, convenience-like items (think paper goods and dog food), in addition to everyday eats from local bakeries and purveyors like pastas and cheeses.

    1. The site would be CAVA’s first Georgia location, according to the restaurant’s website, which doesn’t currently list any locations in the state.
