The owners of Kirkwood’s Dish Dive are opening Smoke and Gravy in Reynolstown.
Smoke and Gravy will be situated in the One Moreland development, at 1 Moreland Ave SE.
News of the forthcoming restaurant arrives on the heels of Dish Dive’s five-year anniversary.
“After a strange two years…the DISH DIVE crew has, finally, been given permission to build in Reynoldstown,” Co-Owner Jeff Myers posted to Facebook Monday.
“Breaking ground at One Moreland Avenue soon!”
Permit applications for the forthcoming restaurant were submitted to the City of Atlanta in May 2019.
Details surrounding Smoke and Gravy are scarce as Myers would not immediately comment on the plans when reached by What Now Atlanta Monday and at the time of the permit filing.
Sceptre Brewing Arts is hosting a party Sunday, November 3 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. to celebrate Dish Dive’s anniversary.
The party is free and open to the public, and will include “DJs, dance, beer, and booze + Ice Ice Baby.”
Dish Dive’s official anniversary is October 28.
