The fast-casual eatery will join the lineup at Krog Street Market. It will be like an ice cream shop, with customers able to sample a selection of dips.

Dips Kitchen was founded by Jeff Scardino in 2023, beginning as a mobile eatery of dips. Dog owners who have visited Fetch Park in Buckhead may be familiar with the Dips truck.

“Our goal is to turn dips into meals so we can eliminate the need to call it ‘girl dinner’ and just call it dinner,” Scardino said in a statement. “What better place to help accelerate our vision than by launching our first brick-and-mortar in the iconic Krog District.”

The menu, created by award-winning chef Whitney Otakwa, features an array of flavors. Some of the offerings: Hot “Fried” Chicken Dip (roasted chicken with hot sauce, cucumber pickles, classic ranch flavors and spicy chicken crunchies), the Low Country Shrimp Dip (wild-caught Georgia shrimp pared and tossed in classic Old Bay seasoning, with celery, fennel and lemon), or the Schug Hummus (whipped chickpeas spiced with turmeric, chili, cumin and tahini topped with schug, a Middle-Eastern hot sauce made from cilantro and jalapeño, and roasted tomatoes).

Available vehicles for the dip include pita bread, sourdough or gluten-free crackers, or seasonal vegetables. Each dip can also be made into a sandwich, wrap or salad.

Dips Kitchen at Krog Street Market will be located between Gu’s Dumplings and Ju-C Bar in the space formerly occupied by Indulge Popcorn. It will be open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. It is expected to open the first week of December.

“Dips Kitchen has garnered attention around the Atlanta community for some time and we’re thrilled to welcome them to The Krog District and provide a space to help grow the brand,” Asana Partners Director of Asset Management Matthew Saylor said in a statement. “Dips Kitchen aligns with our core mission at The Krog District to bring people together around good food. We expect locals and visitors will fully embrace this first-of-its-kind concept within the food hall.”

The Krog District is a mixed-use destination featuring the Krog Street Market food hall, additional restaurants, retail concepts, offices and more adjacent to the BeltLine Eastside Trail.
