Ho last year opened the restaurateur’s Athens location, although the Atlanta location was originally planned to precede that opening. The delay is likely due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Taiwanese tea shop with locations around the world will now have its sixth location in Georgia alongside other storefronts in Johns Creek, Suwanee, Duluth, Doraville, and the aforementioned Norcross and Athens outposts. The new Atlanta location will fill the teashop void currently present in the West Midtown area as Sweet Hut Bakery & Cafe and Momo Cafe are both situated in Midtown.

Ho’s location in Athens opened to much fanfare and has quickly become a favorite of University of Georgia students; a trend Ho likely hopes to replicate with Georgia Tech students. Ho was not immediately available for comment.
