Dave Green’s multi-faceted experiential dining concept, Damsel, is set to open this fall in The Works, and it promises to be a “feast for all of the senses.”

“We believe Atlanta needs deeper experiences for diners,” Green tells What Now Atlanta. “So we’re adding a variety of live entertainment,” that will complement dinner each night, “and then the downstairs will become a nostalgic music dance club afterwards,” reminiscent of New York’s infamous Studio 54.
What’s more, Green says that upstairs will house a Private Club in part of the area, as well as a rooftop lounge that’s “more of a bar scene with food,” and, of course, “entertainment throughout.”
To help make this ambitious project a reality – not least of which will be a “dramatic staircase connecting the first and second floors,” according to a press release shared with What Now Atlanta – Damsel enlisted internationally acclaimed designer Smith Hanes.
And while specific details of the menu have not yet been revealed, there will be an “international culinary team…creating globally inspired” fare across three separate dining experiences, including a small plate menu downstairs, elevated cuisine in the Private Club, and “interactive display cooking” in the lounge.
“We’re building this so it’s going to have appeal to all demographics, all age groups,” says Green.
The Works is a sprawling multi-use complex located at 1295 Chattahoochee Ave NW. Damsel will be located at the complex’s Uber and Lyft drop-off loop.
