Cakes & Ale is relocating and opening a bakery.

The restaurant announced in an email newsletter Tuesday its location at 254 West Ponce De Leon Avenue will close Saturday, August 6 (Watershed is also closing Saturday).

Cakes & Ale will open its new location located at 151 Sycamore Street in Decatur Square, August 16. Decatur Metro first broke news of the restaurant’s relocation plans.

Cakes & Ale will offer a few new features at their new location: wood-burning oven, an extended menu, an oyster bar and bakery.
