UPDATE (March 14, 2018): Sarah Donuts in North Decatur To Grand Open April 7
Local donut shop Sarah Donuts is expanding to North Decatur with its sixth location, according to a press release Tuesday.
The shop will be situated in the North Decatur Center shopping center, at 2136 North Decatur Road.
Sarah Donuts, owned by Jong and Sarah Myong Park, got its start in Texas.
The Parks in 2006 moved to Atlanta to be closer to family and opened the shop’s first location in the Johns Creek area.
“What makes Sarah Donuts stand apart from competitors is 20 years of experience in perfecting its donut technique,” according to the release.
“There isn’t a secret ingredient or a special machine involved. The Park family takes pride in hand-kneading their dough every morning and nailing the perfect temperature and fry time to create a crispy and airy donut.”
The North Decatur donut shop is expected to open in spring 2018.
