Franchise Owner Rhonda Jones along with her children, Ty’Ron and Tyra, plan to open the breakfast and dessert eatery in October 2022.
Jones, a medical professional of 25 years, already has ties to the Day & Night brand. The company was founded by Jones’s nephew Karmon DuPree and his partner in Los Angeles. “Our plan is to most certainly bring this to other cities throughout Georgia,” Jones told What Now Atlanta.
Day & Night Cereal Bar’s menu will feature customizable, build-your-own cereal bowls and a variety of milkshakes. For example, Mucha Lucha, a concoction of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, whipped cream and churro cereal topped with a sprinkled cinnamon roll; or Unicorn Breath, a mix of fruity Lucky Charms and Fruity Pebbles cereal, topped with whipped cream and a strawberry drizzle. Each bowl has the option to include whole, skim, almond or oat milk.
“Everyone has a special memory from their childhood attached to their favorite cereal, and we wanted to bring those memories to life,” said Jones in a press release. “Atlantic Station is a lively spot in the heart of Atlanta that brings families together from near and far. We can’t wait to see parents show their children the cereal they grew up enjoying or for our guests to simply try something new when we open our doors this fall.”
The eatery’s menu also goes beyond just bowls of cereal, with options such as a bacon flight with the choice of three different flavors, french toast coated in cereal, cereal-infused milkshakes and classic coffee drinks. Day & Night Cereal Bar will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
“What better way to celebrate the most important meal of the day than with Day & Night Cereal Bar,” Phil Purdom, director of Southeast retail real estate for Hines, Atlantic Station’s owner, said in the release. “The opening of this delicious new-to-market concept expands both the breakfast and dessert offerings for our guests at Atlantic Station. Day & Night will be a nostalgic experience for all ages to enjoy some of America’s favorite breakfast foods, no matter what time their craving hits.”

Oh, goody: a new chain restaurant! /s
A crab shack in Atlantic Station. These restauranteurs have no idea what is about to happen to them. They really should know better.
I’ve been to the Angry Crab in Arizona. Sooooo good. Can’t wait until they open in Atlanta!
