Shavontay Brown has been operating Da’One Seafood for a little over 5 years, which has primarily functioned as a takeout and delivery option for Florida and Louisiana-style seafood in the Atlanta area. But Brown is taking a whack at their first brick-and-mortar location in College Park at 5400 River Station Blvd and both Brown and the leasing rep, Beau Moultrie, confirmed it will be opening up its doors in January, aiming for the 16th.

“This first location will be more fast-casual, Brown told What Now Atlanta. “Come in, order, and take your food to-go. With this pandemic in place, there will be no dine-in at the moment — only take out and delivery. But of course, the same great Da’One Seafood taste.” Brown decided to take their seafood delivery brand to College Park because of the traffic flow within that particular plaza. They also looked at the dire need for fresh seafood in the area and wanted to corner that market.

“The plan is to expand in the near future once this location is stable and doing good,” Brown said. On one final note, the Da’One Seafood owner stated: “If you don’t lick your fingers, then it’s not Da’One!”
