Suri already has a Curry Up Now in Decatur with upcoming locations in the works in Madison Yards and The Interlock, all part of a three-location deal he agreed to in 2018. When the deal was announced, Suri said he had plans to open a total of five locations over the next three to five years.

The former owner of Midtown Tavern, Suri is also set to bring a franchise of Taffer’s Tavern this year, at 33 S Main St., just across the street from this upcoming Curry Up Now.

Botiwalla, from the team behind Chai Pani, initially closed the Alpharetta location temporarily in March and never reopened. The location would have celebrated its one-year anniversary in May. The restaurant’s original spot in Ponce City Market is still up and running.

Suri did not immediately respond to additional questions regarding the planned Curry Up Now and reps for Botiwalla were not reachable Thursday.
